Surf casting is essentially fishing from the beach and can be done from the beach at the bungalows or further field at selected locations like the rocks or the delta where the river meets the sea and all in easy reach using our 4 x 4 vehicle.

Early mornings and early evenings are the best time to Fish although you will catch fish at anytime of the day.

This style of fishing is a family favorite as we prepare a superb barbecue on the beech for lunch where hopefully we will cook, prepare and eat your catch of the morning. This is a hugely popular day trip spent at the un-spoilt desert sea-side. A day that you will never forget.

You are taken by 4 x 4 vehicle to the delta Katakalousse approx 7 km from the hotel, where you embark a "Pirogue" , a robust traditional vessel equipped with engine. The day starts at 7.30 am ,with drift fishing, a traditional method of fishing incorporating a lure being dragged behind a slow moving boat

At around 10.30 and we stop for approximately 2 hours in the Delta, shaded from the sun where you will be able to fish whilst observing the impressive wildness , fauna and flora which we guarantee will surprise you with its beauty.

for lunch, we stop at a traditional fisherman village of Elinkine, Where we prepare the catch of the morning to be barbequed and served with local wild rice, meanwhile you can relax and visit this traditional village and experience their way of life. The people are so welcoming ,they will invite you in their house with pride.
